POST COVID OPENING PROCEDURE

WCA POST COVID UPDATED PROCEDURE
Ensuring the Safety of Our WCA Family

• All vaccinated and unvaccinated parents and teachers are required to wear a face covering into our school buildings.

• All vaccinated and unvaccinated vendors and visitors must wear a face covering into the school buildings.

• All children ages 2 and up who able to wear a face covering will use one in the school building.

• Hand sanitizer at entrances need to be applied by children 5 and above. All accompanying adult are required to use hand sanitizers before entering the building.

• Daily drop off will be in classrooms and temperature scan will be done daily by teachers at the beginning of the day. Parents will be called to pick up if your child has a temperature of 99 Degrees or higher.

• Be reminded that parents are NOT allowed in classrooms.

• Everyone manifesting COVID-19 symptoms will be given a self-test at home antigen rapid test in the school office. Covid quarantine requirements must be observed if positive; 10 days.

• There will be a 24-hour return policy with a doctor’s note. Please keep your child home if they are sick. Your child must stay home if he/she:

1.      Is developing a cold or has had a cold less than three (3) days old.
2.      Has a sore throat or an earache.
3.      Has swollen neck glands.
4.      Has a “fresh” runny nose or cough.
5.      Has a fever or has had a fever in the past 24 hours
6.      Has an unusual rash or sore
7.      Acts sleepy or complains of a headache.
8.      Has pink eyes or a flushed face
9.      Appears ill to you.
10.     Has or has had vomiting or diarrhea in the past 24 hours.

• All students will wash hands upon entering classrooms and immediately transition to a structured activity.

• Parent will send lunch and snacks daily and water (with eating accessories; forks, spoons, plates, napkins and disposable bibs).

• WCA strongly requires ALL eligible individual receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

• Tuition is due if school closes for COVID
